Saturday weather is looking favorable for a ride. Join John for a pop up C ride. The route will be York 05 with slight modifications totalling 32 miles. The modifications will give an opportunity to focus on several historical sites around the battlefield. The second half of the ride will feature several stops that highlight important historical events associated with the battlefield. This is one of the periodic VA250 WAB rides. Come out and help WAB celebrate our 250th anniversary as well as our partnership with VA250. Optional lunch at Yorktown Pub afterwards. PLEASE NOTE: Yorktown National Battlefield is a fee area. As we will not just be “passing through” on this ride, and will make four or five stops along the Battlefield tour, entrance fees may apply. The park entrance fee is $15 daily, or $45 for an annual pass. Many WAB members have National Park passes, and you are encouraged to have it with you.
