  • 2026 Storming of Thunder Ridge, Lynchburg, VA

    27, 45, 49, 75 and 100 mile rides in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  Challenging climbing!  Start, finish, and festivities at the Lynchburg YMCA.  Max 800 riders.  Benefits the YMCA of Central Virginia’s Annual Fund.  Indoor & outdoor camping available.

  • 2026 Ride of Silence, Chesapeake, VA

    Join the Chesapeake Bicycle /Trail Advisory Committee for the Chesapeake Ride of Silence - an 8.5-mile ride to honor those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. Participants will meet at Chesapeake City Park, Section C - Shelter 11 at 6:30 p.m. The ride will begin at 7:00 p.m. We encourage participants to bring their own bikes and personal safety equipment. For more information about the Ride of Silence, please visit RideofSilence.org.

  • 2026 Tour de Madison, Syria, VA

    The annual Tour de Madison will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, May 23.  The tour offers a 65-mile metric century (with 3777 feet of climbing), a 45-mile route (with 2738' of climbing), and a 22-mile family ride.  The registration fee includes rest stops, lunch, SAG support, and a t-shirt (if you register by May 9). 

    Register on the TDM website, https://tourdemadison.com.  Registration fee: $65 to 5/22; $75 day of event.  Check-in opens at 7:00am, check-and-go,  at Hoover Ridge Park, 75 Primary School Dr., Madison, VA 22727.  From Madison, drive south on Fairground Road (VA Rte. 687).  Turn left onto Primary School Dr.  In 0.1 mile, turn left onto Hoover Ridge. Continue 0.1 mile to the Park.  The RideWithGPS route is 2024 Tour de Madison Metric Century (65.5).  It is a 2.25- to 2.5-hour drive from Williamsburg to Madison.

  • 2026 Lee Warren Queen City Century Bike Tour, Staunton, VA

    Cloverleaf format ride with (4) loops all circling back to a central rest stop.  Do 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles.  Includes rest stops and pizza and beer at the end.  Benefits Renewing Homes of Greater Augusta, a nonprofit based in Staunton.

  • 2026 Tour de Shore, Onancock, VA

    100 mile, 100K, 50K, 25K rides.  Revel in the relaxed beauty tucked between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy biking the “Land Between the Waters” with picturesque towns and miles of country farmland.  Sponsored by the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.  Includes BBQ lunch.  Jerseys to 1st 150 participants.

  • 2026 Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA), Van Wert, Ohio

    Sat 6/20 - Sat 6/27

    7-8 day cycling tour with different daily choices for distances and challenges.  The event will start in Norwalk OH, visit Shelby, Wooster, Ashland and then back to Norwalk.  Most days are about 50 miles, with a century option on one day.

We've designed this getaway weekend with your enjoyment and ease in mind. All our routes are Ride w/ GPS and SAG supported, with plenty of cool stops to recharge along the way!

  • 2026 Cycle NC Mountain Ride, Brevard, NC

    2 days of cycling in the mountains of NC, with a warm-up ride Friday.  Various loop route options from 10-62 miles.  Indoor or outdoor camping, rest stops, SAG support, Saturday dinner, shirt, entertainment, and more.

  • 2026 Lancaster Covered Bridge Classic, Lancaster, PA

  • 2026 Heart of VA Bike Festival, Hanover County Courthouse, VA

    102, 66, 34, 11 mile rides.  Sponsored by RABA.  Benefits the Brain Injury Association of VA and RABA’s Bikes for Kids program.  Registration fee $65 to 5/31, increases incrementally to $100.

  • 2026 Cycle NC Mountains to Coast, NC

  • 2026 River Ride, Kilmarnock, VA

    River Ride 2026 will take riders along winding wooded lanes, past farm fields in their autumn glory, and by historic towns, churches, and farms steeped in American history.  Routes range from a family-friendly 10 mile loop on quiet farm roads to more advanced routes of 17, 29, 40, and 65 miles.  Rest stops along the way provide opportunities to pause, refresh, and enjoy the beauty of this unique part of Virginia.

    Registration is $75.  Funds raised will support Northern Neck Bike Club’s project to develop a new mountain bike trail network in Kilmarnock’s Town Centre Park.

    Some of our WABbits commute from here regularly to ride with us.  Maybe we can ride in their home area for a change.  Easy 1-day trip (~90-min drive from Williamsburg).

  • 2026 Between the Waters Ride, Eastville, VA

    25, 40, 60, 100 mile rides.  Very popular event, capped at 1200, sells out every year.  ​From the broad waters of the Chesapeake Bay to the call of the sea, pedal past golden fields and through historic small towns & hidden hamlets.  Sponsored by Citizens for a Better Eastern Shore.  Picnic lunch, rest stops, long-sleeve t-shirt, SAG support, RWGPS routes.  Registration is open, initial fee $88 (typically increases).
