I'm trying a completely new location and route. This route was developed by Dave Belvin. It has not yet been reviewed in detail as is our practice, nor added to the library, but the turns are all there. It starts from the Diascund Reservoir Park (boat launch) on Diascund Reservoir Road. They have porta-potties there. This route gets away from all the concerns, such as long stretches on rt 30 with rumble strips on the road edges forcing us into the lane; Six Mount Zion Rd closed under I-64; Richardson Millpond dam crossover; Mount Laurel road condition; Croaker Road construction; etc. It is getting more difficult to find routes that are safe and satisfy everybody. This is a trial of a completely new situation that may afford new opportunities. Come join me.
