2026 Fitness & Fight Ride for Ovarian Cancer

Susan Fuhs, Event Organizer, is organizing an inaugural ride on the Virginia Capital Trail on Saturday, October 10th. This ride benefits the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. As a 7-year ovarian cancer survivor, I have been organizing fitness events around Virginia Beach for 6 years to increase awareness of the risks and symptoms of ovarian cancer. I've raised $75,000 along the way.
This year, my goal is to raise enough money to fund a research grant. I am a volunteer who relies on family and friends to spread the word about these events. I have a wonderful event planned and am excited to shine a light on a few Williamsburg and Charles City businesses who have generously supported this initiative. We have turnaround points at Billsburg Brewery, Spoke & Art and Market 5.
Registration is open and it's going to be a great event!
9, 14, & 28-mile options, beginning and ending at Chickahominy Riverfront Park.
